| Between the ancient towns of Tuscany, the one which has got intact its urban and buiding structure is San Gimignano. Its fame and its travel attraction, is due to the presence of the 15 towers still present today out of 72 which existed in the 1300. It is a symbol of the nobility due to an economical explosion during the 1200. Every family wanted to build a mansion with a tower which was necessary to admire the view. |
